Outgoing Third-Party Express Mail

If you choose to use an outside vendor for express mail (UPS, Federal Express, or DHL(AirBorne)) Mail Services can pick up letter-size or small parcels on the regularly scheduled mail route and deposit it into the drop boxes located outside of The Mail Center for the individual vendors.  This requires that all mail must be completely prepared for sending.  These boxes are picked up Monday through Friday at 6:00 pm and mailing supplies are available in those boxes.  Because of the size of these boxes, only smaller parcels can be accepted.  If a parcel does not fit into the slot of the vendor's box, it can only be left outside the box where it will be subject to the elements or theft.

Large parcels can be sent in a number of ways:

  • UPS and FedEx packages can be dropped at the East Guard House for pick-up
  • Central Receiving can pick the parcels up directly from your office, to arrange a pick-up, contact them at 631-7026 keeping these guidelines in mind:
    • FedEx and UPS parcels must be complete and ready to be sent
    • DHL(AirBorne) parcels can be processed by Central Receiving
